    National Signing Day

    Congratulations to the four Buccaneers who signed scholarships on National Signing Day to play football at the next level. Khaylon Chapple is going to McNeese State. CJ McWilliams is going to LA Tech. Jacob Stephens is going to Mississippi College and Matthew Whitten is going to Southern Arkansas.


    The City of Haughton will have its 5th Annual Black History Month Parade on Saturday, February 15, 2020, starting at 12:00 noon in the S building parking lot of Haughton High School. As JROTC prepares for this parade, please have all vehicles removed from the S building and library parking lots by 4:00 P.M. on Friday, February 14, 2020. Everyone is cordially invited to attend.     Come by the library to select from the display of books about notable
    African American authors, artists, athletes, entrepreneurs, leaders, and more.

    Clementine Hunter

    Clementine Hunter is Louisiana’s most famous female artist, and she is one of the most important folk artists of all time. Her work can be seen in the Smithsonian Institute, the New Orleans Museum of Art, the Museum of American Folk Art in New York, the High Museum of Atlanta, the Dallas Museum of Fine Arts, the New York Historical Association, the Oprah Winfrey Collection in Chicago and many other museums and private collections across the country.*
